'Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Reflection' Cast and Staff Announced

The official website of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Reflection has revealed cast and staff members for the third and upcoming movie of the franchise. The lead cast consisting of Nanoha Takamachi, Fate T. Harlaown, and Hayate Yagami will be reprised by Yukari TamuraNana Mizuki and Kana Ueda, respectively. Debuting in franchise's first anime, the following cast members are reprising their roles from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's Portable: The Gears of DestinyPSP game, which was released in December 2011. The first movie, which will be split into two parts, is scheduled to premiere in Summer 2017.

"Code Geass" Compilation Movies To Prepare For New Sequel

   On November 27th, an Anniversary of a Miracle - Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion event at the Maihama Amphitheater in Chiba celebrated the 10th anniversary of Geass' October 5, 2006 debut. Announced at the event, the 50-episode earlier anime will be edited into a three movie Comprehensive Theatrical Version, debuting in January 2017 with re-recorded dialog and new cuts of animation. Beyond that, the big news was plans for a “Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection” anime set several years after Zero Requiem, which director Goro Taniguchi says stars a Lelouch who is alive and not an alternate version. Whether this will be a TV anime or movie has not been announced.

Model Kit Series 'Frame Arms Girl' Gets Anime Adaptation



      At the Anime Festival Asia event in Singapore on Friday, it was announced that Kotobukiya's model kit series Frame Arms Girl will get an anime adaptation in 2017. The anime will feature the kit series’ first model character Gourai, as well as Stylet and Baselard. A drama CD for the series has also been announced, which will be released on March 24, 2017. A manga adaptation titled Frame Arms Girl: Lab Days with illustrations by Tsuneo Tsuneishi and editorial supervision by Hitomi Mieno (aka. Deko Akao) will begin its serialization in the February 2017 issue of Comp Acemagazine, to be released on December 26, 2016.

Frame Arms is a series of plastic robot model kit developed by Kotobukiya with designs by Takayuki Yanase (Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled from Paradise). Unveiled in 2015, the models in the new Frame Arms Girl series are designed by Humikane Shimada (Girls und Panzer), featuring robot models from the Frame Arms series remade as girls. A short anime bundled with the "Frame Arms Versus Set Zelfikar vs. Hresvelgr=Ater" kit was released by Kotobukiya in May 2015.

New TV Anime Project Announced for 'Garo'


At the "Kinrou Thanksgiving Festival" event, which took place in Tokyo on November 23, a new TV anime project of the Garo franchise was announced. Two live action films titled Garo: Kaminokiba and Garo: Tsukiniji no Tabibito for "Ryuuga Dougai" and "Raiga Saejima" live-action series, respectively, were also announced. The live-action series Zero: Dragon Blood starring Rei Fujita will premiere on January 7 at 1:23 a.m. via TV Tokyo and its six affiliated stations, BS channel, Star channel, CS channel and Family Gekijou.

Garo is based on the midnight tokusatsu show. Tokusatsu is a genre of live-action that uses special effects. It received its first 24-episode anime adaptation by MAPPA in October 2014, with directions by Yuuichirou Hayashi. A new 23-episode adaptation was broadcast in March 2015 with directions by Atsushi Wakabayashi. The first anime adaptation received a sequel movie that premiered in May.

Second Season of 'Nanbaka' to be Streamed Online


The official Twitter account of the currently airing TV anime Nanbaka has announced that the anime will receive second season, starting from the fourteenth episode. Instead of continue airing on TV, it will only be available on online services. The second season will premiere on dTV on January 4, 2017, while other online services such as Nico Nico Douga will stream it beginning January 7, 2017.

The series is drawn by Shou Futamata and has been publishing on the comicomanga reader platform since 2013. The first compiled manga volume went on sale on November 12. Crunchyroll began publishing the manga digitally since December 2015.
