Kaminashi Nozomi (17) is an exceptional gymnast. So much so that colleges with some of the best gymnastic programs are trying to recruit her. Unfortunately for them, she has other plans. Due to her family being extremely poor, money is everything to her. That's why she wants to step into the world of "Keijo." "Keijo" is a type of gambling sport where girls stand on a small floating platform and compete against one another. The aim is to push the other contestant off of the platform into the water, but they are only allowed to use their butt or breasts to push the others off. Will Nozomi be able to compete in the intense world of "Keijo" and bring wealth and fortune for her family?

The second season of Boku no Hero Academia will adapt the U.A. Sports Festival arc from Kouhei Horikoshi's manga. It is the fifth story arc that takes place between volumes three and five. The new promotional video announces returning cast and staff, and reveals that the anime is slated to broadcast in April 2017.

'Super Lovers' Gets Another OVA

Amazon Japan listed that eleventh volume of Super Lovers, which will go on sale on September 1, 2017, will bundle another OVA. Its second TV anime season will start on January 12, 2017 at 11:30 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, BS11, TV Saitama, Chiba TV, tvk, TVQ Kyushu Housou, and Sun TV.

Manga 'Black Clover' Gets TV Anime Adaptation for 2017

Manga 'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Receives TV Anime for Spring 2017

It was announced at the "Naruto x Boruto" stage event at Jump Festa 2017 that the Naruto spin-off manga Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will receive a TV anime in April 2017. The main cast members will be reprising their roles from the sequel movie to Naruto Shippuuden.

Original Anime 'Re:Creators' Announced for 2017

The January 2017 edition of Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX is revealing that an original anime project titled Re:Creators will be slated for 2017. Rei Hiroe (Original creator of Black Lagoon) is credited for the original story, character design and screenwriter, whilst Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero) will helm the series at studio TROYCA. Comiket 91 will reveal more information including the promotional trailer on December 29.

The magazine will also reveal that Rei Hiroe's manga Black Lagoon will be resuming in Spring 2017. The series began publishing in April 2002 in Shogakukan's Sunday GX magazine. It later began publishing in English by VIZ Media Signature imprint since August 2008.

Fantasy BL Web Comic 'Spiritpact' Gets TV Anime Adaptation for Winter 2017

An official website by Haoliner Animation League has been launched and announced that web comic Spiritpact will get a TV anime adaptation. It will start on January 7, 2017 9:00 p.m. via Tokyo MX.

Heir of an old famous family of exorcist, Keika You is stricken by poverty after losing his parents and he had to struggle as a street fortune teller and as a computer recovery part timer to earn money. One night in a junkyard, he met the mysterious yet charismatic exorcist, Ki Tanmoku who was fighting an evil spirit. This encounter was the beginning of a fated story for Keika You. Unfortunately for him, he was hit by a car and became a ghost. That's where, the handsome exorcist Ki appeared and asked Keika to make "a pact" with him to fight evil spirits together. TV Special 'Ryuu no Haisha' Cast Members Announced

The official website of Ryuu no Haisha has announced cast members for the upcoming feature-length TV special on Friday. Staff members that were involved with the short-film series Nihon Animator Mihonichi have returned to work on this special under the new studio, Studio Color. The two 45-minute episodes will air on NHK Premium on February 18 and February 25, 2017 at 8:00 p.m., respectively.

'Urara Meirochou' Additional Cast Members Announced

The official website of upcoming Urara Meirochou TV anime has announced additional cast members as well as theme song artists. The series is scheduled to air on January 6, 2017 at 1:58 a.m. via TBS, followed by CBS, Sun TV, and BS-TBS. The official website has announced that Nanbaka will receive a special episode to be screened during the event titled Nanfes 2017 (visual shown) on April 29, 2017 at Shinagawa Stella Hall in Tokyo.

Nanbaka is currently airing on TV this season, and a second season is planned to be made available on online services beginning January 2017.

Manga 'Centaur no Nayami' Gets Anime Adaptation

Manga 'Shokugeki no Souma' Bundles OVA

The official website of Shokugeki no Souma anime has announced on Monday that the manga will bundle an OVA with its 25th special edition volume, shipping on July 4, 2017. Tentatively titled Tootsuki Jikketsu (Totsuki Elite Ten), the episode will revolve around the members of Council of Ten. The pre-order deadline for the special edition retailing for ¥3,240 (US$28) is May 8, 2017.

In addition, the 24th manga volume, which goes on sale on May 2, 2017, will include the Jump Festa 2016 special that was screened across five cities in Japan in November. The OVA will also feature a bonus video titled Nakama Ryou-ban Shokugeki no Souma: Ukiyo wa Mazui yo.

Written by Yuuto Tsukuda with illustrations by Shun SaekiShokugeki no Souma has been adapted into two TV anime seasons with the first airing in Spring 2015 for a total of 24 episodes and the second in Summer 2016 for 13 episodes. The manga previously inspired two OVAs with its 18th and 19th compiled volume earlier this year.

New 'Wake Up! Girls' TV Anime Announced for 2017

It was announced via the "Wake Up, Girls! Festa 2016 Super Live" event today that a new Wake Up! Girls TV anime to air in 2017. There will also be an audition for the new characters which will take place between December 11 and January 16, 2017.

'BanG Dream!' Additional Cast Members Announced

A press conference for BanG Dream project on Wednesday has announced additional cast members for the upcoming anime. The PV that features the opening theme song "Dokimeki Experience!" has also revealed. The anime will premiere on January 21, 2017 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, AT-X as well as on Abema TV, followed by TV Aichi, TV Saitama, BS 11, BS Fuji, TV Kanagawa, and Miyagi TV. There will also be special shows four weeks prior on December 24, 2016, January 1, 2017, January 7, 2017, and on January 14, 2017 to prepare for the anime's premiere.

'Chou Shounen Tanteidan Neo' Additional Cast Members Announced

The official website for studio DLE's upcoming detective short anime Chou Shounen Tanteidan Neo has been updated to announce additional cast members as well as reveal a new key visual (pictured right). A Twitter account for the series has also been created in preparation for the premiere. The anime series itself is scheduled to broadcast on January 2, 2017 at 9:55 p.m. via Tokyo MX.

Final Episodes of 'Long Riders' to be Delayed

The official website of Long Riders has announced that the regular broadcast for the series, which will end on December 24, will only air the first ten episodes of the show. The two final episodes, titled Night Land-hen and Shimanami Kaidou-hen, respectively, will be delayed until February 5, 2017 and will air on AT-X during their back-to-back anime broadcast. The schedule on other channels regarding the episodes will be announced at a later time. A pre-screening event for both episodes will also be held on February 4, 2017 in Tokyo prefecture, as well as in Hiroshima and Onomichi near Shimanami Kaidou, where the setting for the twelfth episode will take place.

Long Riders is a slice of life sports manga drawn by Taishi Miyake. The anime is currently animated by studio Actas and premiered earlier this Fall. Its third and fifth episode has previously been subject of delay. The series is licensed for North American release by Sentai Filmworks and is currently simulcast by Anime Network Online and Daisuki in various regions.

Light Novel 'Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku' Gets Anime Adaptation

The scan found on the fourth volume of Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku manga, which will be released on December 10, has revealed that the light novel will be getting an anime adaptation. 

29-year-old programmer Suzuki Ichirou finds himself transported into a fantasy RPG. Within the game, he's a 15-year-old named Satou. At first he thinks he's dreaming, but his experiences seem very real. Due to a powerful ability he possesses with limited use, he ends up wiping out an army of lizard men and becomes a high levelled adventurer. Satou decides to hide his level, and plans to live peacefully and meet new people. However, developments in the game's story, such as the return of a demon king, may cause a nuisance to Satou's plans.

The novel is written by Hiro Ainana, and was first released on Shousetsuka ni Narou on 2013, where it was published under the Fujimi Shobo label. It then received a physical publication by Kadokawa with illustrations by shri. A manga adaptation by Megumi Aya began its serialization in November 2014 in Age Premium before it was moved to Dragon Age in July 2015. The light novel currently has eight volumes and the manga has three volumes released. Both the light novel and manga have been licensed by Yen Press. 

P.A. Works Original Anime 'Sakura Quest' to Air in Spring 2017

An official website has been launched by P.A. Works to announce that an original anime titled Sakura Quest will air in April 2017. The staff, cast members and a key visual (pictured) have also been revealed. More information regarding the anime will be announced at a press conference with the cast members on December 14, 2016, which will also be streamed via Niconico.

In the wake of a nationwide movement during the Bubble economy period, a small town in the countryside has revived its "mini-nation" tourism program; hiring five girls as travel ambassadors. The series will follow a year's time of the five girls as they work in the tourism agency of a small failing town in an effort to reinvigorate it.
